Overview
Hitman 3 is the newest entry in IO Interactive's stealth-murder franchise and the conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy (preceded by Hitman 2 and the 2016 Hitman reboot). The game is being developed and published by IO Interactive and is scheduled for release in January 20, 2021 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
Player's once again reprise the role of Agent 47, the titular hitman, and travel to locations across the globe to assassinate targets in creative and chaotic ways. In addition to the six new locations that comprise the Hitman 3 story, owners of the previous two games will be able to bring those levels in, forming one complete hub for the entire trilogy. Hitman 2 players will also have the ability to bring their unlocks and progression into Hitman 3.
